We have very humble beginnings that evolved from a spiritual vision given to Mrs. Linda James in 1985. As the Lord ministered, she and her husband, “Elder Vernon James went to work and a daycare was founded.
As children benefited from what the daycare offered, parents supported the daycare to continue serving the needs of their school aged children. The private school setting began and continues until present day.
We are located on the southeast side of Fort Worth, Texas.
From its beginnings as a daycare facility in a tiny rent house, Save Our Children has grown into a facility housed in four buildings on one campus, serving over 100 young people and their families.
The hard work and dedication of the Save Our Children staff has resulted in toddlers that recognize and write alphabets and numbers, kindergartners who are able to read and perform mathematical tasks above grade, as well as some first through sixth graders who excel one to two years beyond their peers academically.
At Save Our Children, families enter into a welcoming atmosphere of love and support.
Visitors are deeply touched by the work and enthusiasm of the children.
The children have an eagerness to learn and take pride in good behavior. They maintain high moral standards and know no limits to their own abilities. Their efforts are rewarded by in school Positive Incentive Programming.
The children in our programs learn to celebrate life and recognize their ability to make a difference in the world.
Their enthusiasm invites us all to join in the celebration.
Elder Vernon James and Sis. Linda James founded this daycare in 1984 which later became a daycare and a school.
We are celebrating over 30 years of service in the community!
